Olen Lauri Kukkonen, 33-vuotias vaasalainen näyttelijä.

Lavallaolemisen lisäksi olen kiinnostunut maailmasta ja sen ilmiöistä. Näitä yritän ymmärtää kamerani linssin läpi. Aloitin valokuvaamisen lukioaikana ja olen jatkanut harrastusta siihen pisteeseen, että oli aika perustaa nämä sivut jakaakseni otoksiani julkisemmin. Hello internet.

My name is Lauri Kukkonen and I'm 33-year-old  actor from Vaasa. Currently I work in Vaasa city theatre. I graduated as master of arts in acting from Tampere University in 2011.  After my graduation I've worked in Hämeenlinna theatre for three years in 2011-2014. In the last two and half years I've been working in Vaasa. There has been many interesting and demanding roles in these years and I'm grateful that I've met so beautiful people to work with.

Besides always so invigorating work on stage I've had some opportunities to act in front of camera both TV and film. Although my contribution for those projects may have been quite small I've really enjoyed working in front of camera and I'm eagerly looking forward to do so again one day. Acting in front of camera is whole another world compared to acting on stage. And I really wish to examine that world more.

As actor I'm physical guy with higher baritone voice. During my years in practice I've done many musicals and I'm fond of dancing. My Master's Thesis in University was about stage fighting and physical comedy and those subjects are still close to my heart.

When I'm not on stage or in front of camera I love to photograph. Photographing has been my hobby since high school and it is one reason why I made this site. This Autumn I've been able to dig into the world of studio photography (yet still comfortably in my home studio). The results are to be seen on Photography -section

H-hetki lähestyy,
otettiin tällaisia studiokuvia, kun vielä ehdittiin. Malli oli kaunis ja kotimme näytti taas kyntensä pro studiona :D Kuvat löytyvät valokuvaus - photography osiosta. Kuvien selailu on inhottavaa vielä, mutta yritän koodata sulavamman kuvarullan sivuille myöhemmin. Kestäkää.

We took these studiophotos, while we still could. Hello everyone,

I know you all went totally bananas because of the new looks of these sites. Now you must be thinking: "Well I guess this was it for the next six months". But behold: I promise you new photo EVERYDAY! Can you imagine?! This new project will be on another domain, but the photos will be linked in the sidebar under the title 365 Project. Actual site is:

So the name of the game will be this: I will take one photo every day for the next 365 days and I to make it more challenging (or easy, as you wish) I will do it only with my camera phone. I don't know where this journey will take me, but now it starts! The first photo is there already, stick around!

Heippa, Onpas kesä ollut hieno, kun sivujen päivittämiselle ei ole ollut sopivia sadepäiviä. Nyt kuitenkin tein taas pienen uudistuksen ja toivottavasti tykkäätte. Navigointipalkki siirtyi ylhäältä vasemmalle ja kuvat ovat ottaneet isomman roolin tästä etusivusta. Kuvia klikkaamalla löytyy sitten lisää sisältöä. Uusi ulkoasu ei oikein palvele etusivun kuvien kokonaista näyttämistä, joten kannattaa käydä katselemassa mitä Valokuvaus osioon tulee. Sitäkin on muokattu ja nyt se on minusta aika hieno. This Summer has been amazing while I haven't had a single rainy day to update my sites. Well, finally I managed to make a small update and I hope you like it. Navigation has moved from up to left and pictures have taken greater role from this front page. As you click those images, more content will be revealed. New layout crops the photos on front page so full sized photos will be in Photography section. Because of the photos, these pages are currently pain to visit. I know, I try to make it better in the future. Bear with me. Leave a comment and tell me what you like!

Heippa, ehkä vielä liian aikaista hehkuttaa, mutta laitanpa nyt teillekin tänne tiedoksi, että syksyllä minua nähdään perhesyistä vain yhdessä produktiossa ja se produktio on mikäs muukaan kuin Marc Camolettin kirjoittama salarakas-farssi Älä pukeudu päivälliselle. Teksti on minulle vanha tuttu, olihan se minun ensimmäinen ammattiteatteri produktio valmistumisen jälkeen Hämeenlinnan teatterissa. Nyt tosin saan olla eri roolissa ja se tarkoittaakin melkoista turpajumppaa, kun sivukaupalla sekoilemme itseämme kuiville. Ihana tehdä farssia, tulkaahan katsomaan ja nauramaan!

 Hello, maybe it's too early to be excited about this, but just to let you know; The only show I'm on stage this fall is Marc Camoletti's farce "Don't dress for Dinner" I know the text before, because this play was my first professional production after graduation in Hämeenlinna theater. Now I get to play another role, which means lightninggast dialogue as we try to keep our heads up in this mess

Premiere will be on the 2nd of November
